Rango Has a Sword - Direct Observation

Portrait of my pet veiled chameleon, Rango, sitting on my El Cid Tizona sword. Both were drawn using direct observation, but a photo reference was used for Rango's pose since she would not sit still. -2020

Material: All graphite. The sword's handle was darkened with a 9XXB graphite pencil.

This was done for an Art 4 - Studio Art project for metallic objects to convey metallic surfaces through 2d artwork.
