Project done in 2019 for a Rock & Hip Hop class project for a split album cover. This piece, like Duck Man, also has plenty of symbolism.
The following is my explanation of this piece taken directly from that assignment: " When listening to “Little Red Rooster”, one would generally not think the rooster would be dead, nor would they likely think it to be unhappy— yet, it is easy for people to hide their misery, and self-decay, behind a disguise of happiness (seen as the farm). Taking a drastic step away from the expected with the art, the inclusion of the constricting ivy vines (specifically poison ivy) are portraying the pressure placed on individuals by not only their peers and even by strangers or celebrities, but society as a whole in order to “do their best”, and the requirements for complete success in order to lead even just a decent life. The fact that they are poison ivy vines elaborates on this further, indicating the toxicity and painful effects these mindsets can cause for this generation’s youth. "
